How It Works
Band 6.0 — Minimum Threshold
IELTS 6.0 satisfies Canada SDS requirements and minimum entry at many UK/Australian universities. Some programs have higher minimums. Individual bands must typically be 5.5+. Not competitive enough for top programs.
Band 6.5 — Standard Requirement
IELTS 6.5 is the most common requirement across UK, Canada, and Australian universities. Individual bands typically minimum 6.0. This satisfies most master's program requirements at mainstream universities.
Band 7.0 — Premium Threshold
IELTS 7.0 is required for top UK universities (Russell Group), nursing/allied health in Australia, and some US university requirements. Individual bands typically minimum 6.5. EduVed's IELTS Advanced course targets 7.0+.
Band 7.5 — Specialist Programs
